AirBnb Apartment
Schematic Design of a BoHo Oasis in Bloordale
Here we had an open space to use, however, the previous owners of the house did many half-hearted DIY projects which made a lot of the space an accessibility concern. The kitchen and staricase landing currently do not meet Ontario accessibility standards, and the rest of the built-in pieces did not work for the space.
The current clients are working on a tight budget and with all the demolitions that need to be done, we tried to create a design that could reuse some of the furniture pieces in different locations. They also have a lot of second-hand furniture in storage that could be used in this space.
They are hoping to host families looking to explore the city in this future AirBnb and wanted some inspiration on how to achieve that on a budget.
