Eclectic Main Floor

For a Colourful Couple and their Roommate

Made for a couple and their roommate, this space focuses on the kitchen redesign with suggestions for the foyer and living room. Floor plans were made in consideration of a tight budget so that plumbing relocation is minimal.

This eclectic design incorporates bright oranges with complementary blues, as well as muted greens and dark finishes. These spaces are broken up with black and white finishes and slatted wood to bring emphasis to these bright colours. This palette inspiration came from the colours I noticed they have been drawn to as well as their desire for a dark and moody space.

This style incorporates pieces of industrial, Scandinavian, contemporary, and bohemian design. Industrial design has been used in the reused furniture as well as the backsplash. Scandinavian design has been used in the suggested new furniture. Contemporary design has been used for the millwork for reselling purposes, and bohemian design is used throughout the house with the décor and open shelving coffee bar.
